Principal's Message 

Welcome to our new school website.  I am excited to be able to provide our school community with information about our school as well as the many activities and services we provide for our students.

White Woods Public School is a JK-8 school of 255 students in the town of Sturgeon Falls, located on Highway 17 approximately 37 kilometres west of North Bay.  Our school is the newest school in the Near North District School Board, having opened its doors in September 2005 after the closure of the former Frank Casey Public School. We offer a full-day daily JK/SK program and an Extended French program for Grade 5 to 8 students.

At White Woods Public School, we believe in working as a team.  In cooperation with students and families, colleagues and the community, we strive to create a rich and supportive environment where all feel safe and valued, and where all children can achieve their full potential.  Students are always encouraged to be active in the school by volunteering and participating in the many daily activities.
