Welcome everyone to West Ferris Secondary School. Through the Home Page you will get an insight into our school and the outstanding programs offered to our students and the wider community. West Ferris enjoys a reputation as an outstanding academic institution in North Bay and in the context of education in Ontario. Our graduates proceed to universities and colleges throughout the province and beyond, including the USA. They have won prestigious scholarships at the undergraduate level and many have completed advanced degrees. Our recent 110 year reunion, where again over 600 alumni returned, demonstrated the width and breadth of Trojan success.

You will discover the many innovative extracurricular programs open to our students, especially in the arts and sports program. We pride ourselves on Trojan commitment to excellence. The results speak for themselves. Our staff can provide specialized support to students pursuing a wide range of skills and activities, from aviation to zoology.
