Evergreen Heights Education Centre, located in Emsdale, is a Kindergarten to Grade Eight school serving the communities of Emsdale, Kearney, Novar, Sprucedale, and surrounding areas.

 Students at E.H.E.C. recieve a solid academic program, which is enhanced through the use of technology. Character Education is very important at E.H.E.C.. The social and emotion needs of children are also met through a balanced arts, outdoor education, and athletics program.
